Gay Crete

If you are looking for LGBT, gay, lesbian friendly accommodation on Crete then we may have some suggestions that will help you in your quest as there is a wide variety of hotels, apartments, and Greek family run accommodation, and to suit a variety of pockets.

Nearly all of these have a pool, a bar, and can offer breakfast for those looking for b and b hotel accommodation. You will also find that such amenities as free WiFi are widely available.

For your best experience of Crete we recommend that you head for the smaller locally owned apartment blocks as the owners being Cretan will be able to provide you with local information.....

Of course if you wish to stay in a highly organised all inclusive hotel then you are free to do so, but you will not see much of the real Crete from the inside of such hotels no matter how many bars, ‘tavernas’, spas, pools, or self awarded stars it might have!
Friends of Dorothy, in fact all LGBT tourists to Crete, are welcome to drop in and see us while they are here, and the coffee pot is usually on for most of the day. We are not a bar or a taverna but if you bring the gin and tonic, we can supply the ice and lemon, we don’t have a pool either, but then we do have a hot tub in the garden, and a clothing optional area too in our rather interesting garden where you are welcome to strip off if you don’t fancy the beach!
We have even been known to run the occasional evening barbecue with free food!

Please note that we are not a hotel ourselves.
