And The Great Crete Gay Guesthouse
Opened in 2004, Villa Ralfa is the only small, private independent guesthouse providing a self contained apartment and ‘bed and breakfast’ accommodations specifically for gay and lesbian travel lers to Crete, Greece.
Many things have changed since we opened, in 2004 searching for ‘gay crete’ in Google did not give any significant results for instance! This year sees more change again as the new gay bar, Roze Maandag which opened in 2011 is now an established part of the gay scene on Crete, and Eros Bar in Malia is going as strong as ever.
With over 2,000,000 visitors a year, (and if we believe the statistics), Crete welcomes more LGBT visitors than any other Greek island, even Mykonos. And with an area of over 3,000 square miles, offers visitors an opportunity to see spectacular mountains and gorges, visit some beautiful beaches, some brilliant archaeological sites, and with its agricultural industry, gives you some of the freshest food you will experience anywhere in the world. We make some very good wine too!

Welcome to Villa Ralfa, the first guesthouse on Crete, Greece especially for the independent LGBT traveller.
If your idea of a good holiday is go out at 10pm and get back at 5am, then that is fine by us, but you should also try and visit Crete someday. As we live here all year round (so if you want to visit in winter....), we know our way around and can suggest day trips and evenings out to suit most tastes. And pockets.
